On the 6th December The Chatsworth Road Market and shop keepers will be hosting a Christmas evening for the community.
This year the road will be closed off to traffic and filled with a street full of festive market stalls. Father Christmas will make his return to his grotto in the market and, this year he’s bringing reindeer!
Festive cheer will be provided by community choir Hackney voices and steel drum band Pantonic. Also performing will be choirs and instrumentalists from the local schools.
Many shops will stay open until 9pm and will be offering Christmas discounts and gifts as well as offers and treats from the restaurants on the road.
